Terms of service, without the legalese
These are the rules for using Yalla Ni7ki Sawa. They’re short because the deal is simple: we teach Palestinian Arabic for free, and we ask you to use the service fairly.
Last updated: June 2026
The service
Yalla Ni7ki Sawa is a free service for learning Palestinian Arabic. It is provided as-is: we work hard to keep it accurate, available, and useful, but we make no guarantees of uptime, error-free content, or fitness for any particular purpose. Features may change, improve, or be removed as the product evolves.
It’s educational, not professional
Our lessons, phrase guides, and translator exist to help you learn a living dialect. They are educational content, not professional translation or interpretation. Don’t rely on them for legal documents, medical situations, immigration paperwork, or anything else where a mistranslation has real consequences — hire a certified translator for that.
Your account
Creating an account is optional. If you do, you’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for what happens under your login. Give us a real email address you control — it’s how you reset your password. You can delete your account at any time, which also deletes your data, as described in our privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Use the service to learn. Don’t abuse it: no scraping or bulk-downloading our content, no hammering the translator with automated requests, no attempts to break, probe, or overload the service, and no using it to generate or spread harmful or unlawful material. Common sense covers the rest.
Our content
The lessons, phrase pages, audio, exercises, and everything else we created are © Yalla Ni7ki Sawa. You’re welcome to use them for your own learning, share links, and quote short excerpts with credit. You may not republish, resell, or repackage our content as your own. The Arabic language belongs to everyone; our particular lessons don’t.
Termination
You can stop using the service whenever you like. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms — typically after a warning, immediately if the abuse is serious. If we ever discontinue the service, we’ll give reasonable notice so you can export what matters to you.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. For meaningful changes — anything affecting your data or your rights — we’ll notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
